Cookie Policy
About this policy
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on brandor.co.uk and in the BrandOr Leads app at brandor.co.uk/automation, and how you can control them. BrandOr is the trading name of Dominic Vital, a sole trader based in Bournemouth, Dorset. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data more generally.
1. What cookies and browser storage are
Cookies are small text files a website saves on your device. Websites can also save information in your browser’s “local storage” or “session storage”, which works in a similar way. The law (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003) treats them all alike: a website may use them without asking only when they are strictly necessary to provide something you have asked for. Anything else needs your consent.
2. This website
This website sets no cookies and saves nothing in your browser’s storage. There is no analytics, advertising or tracking, and our fonts are served from our own site, so no third-party content loads when you browse it.
3. The BrandOr Leads app
When you sign in to the app at brandor.co.uk/automation, it uses the following browser storage. All of it is strictly necessary, so it doesn’t need your consent.
sb-hdwcerijggavajqohzyt-auth-token (local storage, set by Supabase, our sign-in provider): keeps you signed in. Kept until you sign out.
hp-chat-history-v1 (local storage): keeps your recent conversation with the help assistant, so it survives a page refresh. It stays in your browser until you clear it.
ic_fx_rates_v1 (local storage): stores recent currency exchange rates for invoice features. It contains no personal data and stays until you clear it.
js_worker_ items and js_worker_offline_queue (local storage): on the job scheduling worker page, keep the day’s jobs and any check-ins made without signal, so they can be sent when the connection returns. They stay until you clear them.
eq_gmail_oauth_state and gcal_redirect_uri (session storage): used briefly and securely while you connect Gmail or Google Calendar. Removed when you close the tab.
The app also fetches fonts from Google Fonts and Adobe Fonts and a code library from jsDelivr. These providers receive your IP address when your browser requests the files. We have not seen them set cookies in the app.
When you connect Gmail, Google Calendar or Outlook, you sign in on Google’s or Microsoft’s own pages, which use their own cookies under their own policies.
4. How to control cookies and storage
You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. Clearing site data for brandor.co.uk removes the storage described above, and signs you out of the app.
5. Changes to this policy
If we change the cookies or storage we use, we will update this page and the date at the top. If we ever want to use non-essential cookies, such as analytics, we will ask for your consent first.
